Hi, my name is Tim Leung, an internet developer currently living and working in Toronto, Canada.
Developing web solutions requires problem solving. Solving these problems are my passion.
After studying Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, I did consulting for a couple of years before working on a start up project called OurFaves. Currently I'm employed at Torstar Digital, where I'm responsible for developing our proprietary content management system and leveraging it to provide web solutions for media companies across Canada.

Citytv.com is comprised of Citytv, Cityline and CityNews. This is the primary site for Citytv across Canada.
Led the development of the three CityTV websites built ontop of a proprietary content management system (TOPSCMS). Collaborated with the clients, project managers, QA analyst, and designers in an agile environment.

Workopolis is Canada's biggest job site with nearly 4 million visitors monthly providing a range of tools for employers and job seekers.
Worked alongside senior marketing executives in developing their Search Engine Optimization and Analytics strategy. Developed key components (custom analytics tracking and insights, beta search tool) as part of Workopolis' website relaunch in 2008.

WeHeartToronto is an one line real time Toronto news reporting mashable using Twitter and built on Google App Engine.
Brainstormed and develop the idea as a way to test out concepts such as content aggregation, hyperlocal news, twitter api, and google app engine. Consulted and inspired the creation of WeHeartDenver.com.
My Responsibilties
Idea, Concept, Design, Development (Python on Google App Engine).
Developed in 2005, this interactive flash website highlights my selected portfolio work in design and interactive media.
I was primarily a flash developer in the early stages of my career, developing flash demos and websites for clients such as the University of Waterloo, Bank of Montreal, and Tennis Canada.

Recreational Social and Collaborative website developed to test out theories in social networking, user generated content, search engine optimization, and entrepreneurship.
Working with a brilliant designer, we launched the site as a weekend side project.
